AEI – Coronavirus (COVID-19) and business into the future.

23 March 2020.

Auto Electrical Imports acknowledges that it's currently not business as usual, and it is a time of stress and uncertainty, but we remain a fully functioning business, just not operating as before.

The landscape is rapidly changing, and we will continue to work within government mandated practices and adapt our operation to ensure we maintain the supply of products to our customers.

Our staff and their family’s health and safety are our #1 priority, and our internal policies and practices reflect this position.

AEI will no longer accept visitors to the warehouse or administrative areas, only delivery personnel and customers collecting packaged orders will be allowed in the designated areas at our Goods Inward and Dispatch. All mandated social distancing requirements must be practiced.

Our sales, warehouse and administration teams will be working split shifts, effectively halving our daily workforce and we would appreciate if orders could be sent via fax or email in the first instances, this would help our phone sales team greatly.

Stock holdings are in good shape, but our throughput will be compromised, please be patient with us while we endeavour to dispatch orders as quickly as our reduced staff numbers will allow.

The Trade counter is closed until further notice. Any and all orders that would previously have been completed face to face will need to be placed via phone, fax or email to our sales team and you will be notified when the packaged order is available for collection at dispatch.

With Health authorities advising of many months of disruption and restrictions ahead of us, this for now, will be our new normal.

We at AEI are hopeful that everyone remains safe and healthy during this unprecedented world event and look forward to a more settled, normal time, in the not too distant future.
